Good morning to you all, I hope the weather is better where you are, it is poring with rain here in Coalville. Typical British Summer!!!!
Today I would like to share a card which I made for a Card Swap Challenge I belong to on Facebook.
Our host sets a challenge each month and selects who are partners are.
The theme for this month was 'GOOD LUCK', the criteria being, your card must be Green and you can choose any style and use whatever you like as long it shows Good Luck somewhere in your design.
I have been watching a super tutorial from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts and fell in love with this particular style of card. It is easy to make once you have watched Dawn's video a few times.
I chose to use Always Artichoke Card Stock for the base and used papers from my stash of Papermania 12 x 12 called Capsule Collection. Along with Whisper White on the front of the smaller card.
I have a few of the Capsule Collection Colours so decided it was about time they were used.
My 'Good Luck' clear dome sticker I found in my craft box along with the matching Capsule Collection Flowers.
For my two sentiments - 'Dear Friend' and 'Sending a smile you way' are Stampin' Up! stamps called BIRTHDAY BLOOMS and LOVE and AFFECTION, both of these sets are in the current catalogue.
They were stamped in the matching Always Artichoke Ink
I know that my swap partner has received her card so it is safe to post on here.
I didn't have a clue what to design for this challenge so I hope I have inspired you to do something yourself.
