Hello everyone and welcome to another Colour Challenge hosted by
POOTLES  as she is known by her Stampin' Up! Team.

Pootles is really Sam Hammond and each week on a Saturday she sets her team a Colour Challenge.

This week Sam's chosen colours to work with are:

You don't have to use all the colours to take part, Sam leaves it up to us.

This is my take on her challenge.

I set out the Ink Pads on my desk and reached for Card Stock to match.

For the main card I chose Smokey Slate to which I added a layer a Pink Pirouette I had embossed using the beautiful 'Petal Burst' Embossing Folder.
To stamp my image I went for 'Whisper White' card stock and a stamp set called 'Falling Flowers'
My scroll was stamped in Mint Macaron, it is such a love gentle colour and a favourite of mine.
I added flowers from the same set and using Pink Pirouette and Sweet Sugarplum they were dotted around the scroll.
For the sentiment I reached for Birthday Blooms and Smokey Grey Ink and finished it off with a small butterfly from Butterfly Basics, again stamping in Smokey Slate.

I rather like my card and hope you do too, do leave me comments to let me know what you think. I love to read them, good or bad.

Good afternoon to you all

I don't know if it is the same where you live but today has been cooler so I have done a little crafting.

My Upline Sam Hammond has started to do weekly blog challenges using Stampin' Up! products and this is the first time I have joined in.
You can find the link to Sam's Challenge here

The criteria Sam set was to use the following 3 colours:  So Saffron, Soft Sky and Sweet Sugarplum.
The choice is ours as to whether we used all 3 colours but it must be a new creation.

As I have recently received new stamps from Stampin' Up!  So I chose to use one of the new sets.

My choice of stamp sets is called Blooms and Wishes and has the most gorgeous set of 12x12 DSP papers to work along side these stamps.

I chose my card base using So Saffron Card Stock and matted a layer of Whisper White onto which I used  stamps from the above set.

For the background of the flowers I used my Clear Blocks, using Soft Sky for the top and Sweet Sugarplum Inks for the bottom. I stamped on and off to give a lighter effect, (this is an experiment for me) but I am pleased with the way it has turned out.

To make my flowers 'pop, I added Basic Pearl Jewels.

I hope you like my take on Sam's Challenge 004

If you wish to order any of the items listed below or any other products you can do so by clicking the 'Shop Now' button on my blog or by using my 'Contact Button' at the top of the page.

I would love to have you join my team

Good afternoon to you all. I hope you are enjoying the sunshine.

Today I am sharing my take on Patty Bennets YouTube Video Tutorial.

Another style of a 'Z' Fold Card.  These are so easy to make and today I have opened my new Designer Series Paper called Blooms & Bliss. These are a gorgeous 12 x 12 papers from Stampin' Up! and are available to order through me.

I chose Raspberry Ripple for my main card base and just one of the beautiful papers. You get 2 sheets of each in the pack and they are double sided. On the back of them is a guide as to what colours match with them, these are:
Blushing Bride, Island Indigo, Mint Macaron, Rich Razzleberry, Sahara Sand, Sweet Sugarplum and Whisper White.

To make the cards slightly different I chose Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron for the centre panels, this shows how well the colours compliment each other.

As I said above, you can order any of the Stampin' Up! goodies through me and by clicking on my 'Shop Now' Link on the page.

I would love to have you join my team and for this month for every £45 you spend you will receive a voucher from Stampin' Up' to spend in the month of July.
As a thank you for signing up with me I will send you a small thank you gift and a welcome email.

Looking forward to having you on board.

Hello to you all, how are you enjoying this 'British' Summer!!!!

I am beginning to think sunshine has left us as we are continuing to have a lot of rainy days.
This does mean however, that I have time to craft.

This time I have a yet another 'Z' Fold Card to show you and once again credit for this style of card is given to Dawn of
Dawn's Stamping Thoughts.

I recommend you to follow her on YouTube as she has lovely cards to share with you.

For this card I used Perfect Plum Cardstock from Stampin' Up along with stamps some of which have retired.
For the backing paper I chose my Papermania A4 Capsule Collection in 'Heather' to add to the card.
I have had these Papermania Pads for such a long while, so I decided it was time to start using them.
The colour really compliments Perfect Plum and as Purple is one of my all time favourite colours I will be using more of it in my Blog Posts.

I hope you like my design and would love you to leave me feedback. In return, I will visit your blogs and return the compliment.

Thanks for looking and if you would like to order any of the beautiful products Stampin' Up! has to offer, then drop me an email using the link at the top of my blog.

Good morning to you all, I hope the weather is better where you are, it is poring with rain here in Coalville. Typical British Summer!!!!

Today I would like to share a card which I made for a Card Swap Challenge I belong to on Facebook.

Our host sets a challenge each month and selects who are partners are.

The theme for this month was 'GOOD LUCK', the criteria being, your card must be Green and you can choose any style and use whatever you like as long it shows Good Luck somewhere in your design.

I have been watching a super tutorial from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts and fell in love with this particular style of card. It is easy to make once you have watched Dawn's video a few times.

I chose to use Always Artichoke Card Stock for the base and used papers from my stash of Papermania 12 x 12 called Capsule Collection. Along with Whisper White on the front of the smaller card.
I have a few of the Capsule Collection Colours so decided it was about time they were used.

My 'Good Luck' clear dome sticker I found in my craft box along with the matching Capsule Collection Flowers.

For my two sentiments - 'Dear Friend' and 'Sending a smile you way' are Stampin' Up! stamps called BIRTHDAY BLOOMS and LOVE and AFFECTION, both of these sets are in the current catalogue.
They were stamped in the matching Always Artichoke Ink

I know that my swap partner has received her card so it is safe to post on here.

I didn't have a clue what to design for this challenge so I hope I have inspired you to do something yourself.

I am a current Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, so if you would like to shop with me please contact me by email or use the 'Shop Now' Link on my blog.
