Pootlers Design Team Challenge Week 3

Good morning to you all.

I can't believe it is the half way point of my being part of  Pootles Design Team for May.

For those of you who are new to my blog, you won't know what I am talking about.

Every month my lovely Upline - Sam Hammond Donald puts a call out for her team asking if they would like to be a Designer for a challenge she sets.
If you are lucky, as I was, to be selected Sam sends out a lovely Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! for you to use and keep.

This is the Stamp Set she chose for us to work with during May.

I was thrilled to receive this as I have a love for anything which includes Butterflies.

Here is my Design for Week 3

This is what I call 'CAS' which means 'Clean and Simple'

Every year Stampin' Up' produce a new Annual Catalogue and there is always a Colour Change for Card and Inks. This Catalogue launches on June 1st so I am giving you a Sneak Peak to what they are.

For my base card I chose to use one of the new colours in the upcoming Catalogue 2017-2018 from Stamping' Up!

It is called - 'Berry Burst'

I then used 'Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies' using Whisper White Card as a cut out for the side of my design.

The beautiful flower stamp has been stamped using ' Berry Burst' Ink and coloured using Watercolour Pencils.
I recently bought the Blender Pens which I used to blend the colours together.
Why haven't I bought these before, I love them.

My sentiment was stamped using 'Tranquil Tide' and my tiny Butterfly with 'Lemon Lime Twist'

I added a few 'Glitter Enamel Dots' for texture.

I am loving the new colours and I know you will too once you see them in the new Annual Catalogue.

If you would like a copy Free of Charge, send me a message and I will get one sent to you.
If you are interested in joining 'Stampin' Up! and my team, again get in touch.

I hope you like my design and thank you for popping by to leave me comments.

Tuesday Sneak Peak

Hello to you and guess what, we have rain here again!!

This week I am sharing with you a few cards using one of the new Designer Series Papers which will be available to order from me on June 1st.

The papers I chose for this week are called ' Delightful Daisy' and there is a matching Stamp Set and Punch to compliment to set.

Card Number 2

For this really easy card I chose 'Daffodil Delight' as my base card and must admit it isn't a colour I would normally go for, however I think it compliments this beautiful Designer Series Paper rather well.

My look for today is 'CAS' - Clean and Simple

The only thing I have added to my card is the sentiment from the Delightful Daisy Stamp Set, stamped in Night of Navy onto Calypso Coral Card which I punched out using the Decorative Label Punch.

A few pearls make the sentiment pop and there you have it, card made in less than 30 mins and another one for my collection of cards.

I hope you like what I am sharing with you and if you would like a Copy of the new Annual Catalogue Free of charge or are interested in learning more about Stampi' Up! and maybe joining my team, please contact me.
I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

Monday 'Sneak Peak'

Hello to you and hope you don't have the rain we have here in Leicestershire today.

This week I am sharing with you a few cards using one of the new Designer Series Papers which will be available to order from me on June 1st.

The papers I chose for this week are called ' Delightful Daisy' and there is a matching Stamp Set and Punch to compliment to set.

Card Number 1

Here I have used one of the New In Colours for 2017-2018 called
Lemon Lime Twist .

The card measures 21 cm, scored and folded at 10.5 cm

I chose one of the beautiful new papers to match the base card from the Delightful Daisy DSP.

Using the matching Stamp Set and Punch, I stamped a couple of the Daises in Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist.
Both new colours in the new Annual Catalogue.

The sentiment is from the same set, stamped in Lemon Lime Twist before die cutting it out using the Stitched Label Framelits.
There are Squares, Circles and Ovals in the same set.
A must have if you like the look of stitching around your dies.

A couple of small flowers stamped using Tranquil Tide and a Glitter Enamel Dots completes the design.

This size of card is one of my favourite sizes and they are quick and easy to make.
The Designer Series Paper does it all for you.

I hope you like what I have made and if you would like a copy of the Annual Catalogue Free of Charge, please use the contact me button on my Blog.
This also applies if you are interested in joining Stampin' Up! and my team.

Thanks for stopping by today

Pootlers Design Team Challenge Week 2

Good morning everyone and a warm welcome to my 2nd week as a Design Team member for Pootles who all her team know is the lovely Sam Hammond Donald.

For the whole month of May, which is 4 Thursday's, Sam gave all the team this gorgeous Stamp Set to use,
It is called 'BUTTERFLY BASICS'  and is Gorgeous.

For my 2nd Week I thought I would make something a little different to a card.

This is a lovely Gift Set to send to out to family or friends and consists of:

Four 4 x 4 Cards with Envelopes

I cut the bases out of a 12 x 12 sheet of Blushing Bride Card Stock.
My toning card colour is Smokey Slate which has been put through my Big Shot using the 'Fluttering' Textured Embossing Folder.
Having attached the Smokey Slate Layer I chose to use the sentiment 'Sending Wishes You Way' as shown in the above picture.
This was punched out using the Decorative Label Punch on Blushing Bride Card using Smokey Slate Ink
I then cut out a Butterfly using the 'Butterflies Thinlits Dies' from  Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper as a contrast.
To this I stamped the gorgeous Lacy Butterfly as shown in the above photo, using  Blushing Bride Ink onto Smokey Slate Card.
The gems for the body of the butterfly and also on the sentiment are from the Metallic Enamel Shapes Pack.

A gorgeous Box to hold the cards, made using the Envelope Punch Board and 'Falling in Love' Designer Series Paper.
Another beautiful set of 12x12 papers which happens to have 2 sheets of the Butterfly Design. The same punch and butterfly were attached to the Box.

To compliment the above, I made a Post It Note Holder giving credit to Sam after watching one of her many YouTube Tutorials.
Blushing Bride Card Stock, Falling in Love DSP, Lacy Butterfly Stamp as before, completes this.

Finally, to complete the set, I covered a Shopping Note Pad, readily available from well know shops with the same DSP. To finish this off I chose the same sentiment punched using the Decorative Label Punch.

I hope you like what I have made for you this week .
Pop back on Thursday 18th May to see Week 3

Thanks for visiting my Blog and I hope I have inspired you to try out my Designs.

Pootler's Design Team Challenge Week 1

Good morning,

A warm welcome to Week 1 of my Pootler's Design Team Posts.

Myself along with 4 other lovely ladies were gifted the beautiful Stamp Set called

I admit to being a little apprehensive of being part of the Design Team but once I received this Stamp my doubts disappeared.

People who know me well, know that my love is anything Butterfly related, so I am very happy to have received this set.

I knew straight away what I was going to showcase and also the colour choices.

This is the Die I chose for my base and is a favourite style of mine

My base colour is Very Vanilla with toning Sahara Sand Card.

I chose Very Vanilla to stamp onto using several of the stamps from the above set.
Keeping in with the tones,  my stamping was done using Blushing Bride, Pear Pizazz, Always Artichoke and Sahara Sand.

For my two side panels I added Lace from my supplies along with matching Lace along the bottom to which I attached a strip of Pearls.

Butterflies where added using the Bitty Butterfly Punch with Pearls for the bodies along with the matching Thinlit for the the main Butterfly.

If you have the chance to be chosen for the Design Team, don't hesitate. It is an amazing opportunity to showcase you work.

I hope you like my design

I have thoroughly enjoyed making this for week 1 so hope you will check back to see my ideas for the next 3 weeks.

Have a lovely day

Love and hugs
